Exciting opportunity for two young journalists from Samoa

(SAMOA) — May 7 is the deadline for journalists from Samoa to submit applications for the United Nations Reham Al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship that provides funding to cover the UN during a three-week programme in New York.

The award is named in honor of a 29-year-old Jordanian public information officer killed in the August 19, 2003 bombing of the UN Headquarters in Baghdad, Iraq.

To meet the eligibility requirements, candidates must be full-time working journalists between the ages of 22 and 35.
